Why Can’t I Receive Emails from FameEX?

If you are not receiving emails sent from FameEX, please follow the instructions below to check your email’s settings:

1. Are you logged in to the email address registered to your FameEX account? Sometimes you might be logged out of your email on your device and hence can’t see FameEX emails. Please log in and refresh.

2. Have you checked the spam folder of your email? If you find that your email service provider is pushing FameEX emails into your spam folder, you can mark them as “safe” by whitelisting FameEX email addresses. You can refer to How to Whitelist FameEX Emails to set it up.

3. Is the functionality of your email client or service provider normal? To be sure that your firewall or antivirus program isn’t causing a security conflict, you can verify the email server settings.

4. Is your inbox packed with emails? You won’t be able to send or receive emails if you have reached the limit. To make room for new emails, you can remove some of the older ones.

5. Register using common email addresses like Gmail, Outlook, etc., if at all possible.

 

How come I can’t get SMS verification codes?

FameEX is always working to improve the user experience by expanding our SMS Authentication coverage. Nonetheless, certain nations and regions aren’t currently supported.

Please check our global SMS coverage list to see if your location is covered if you are unable to enable SMS authentication. Please use Google Authentication as your primary two-factor authentication if your location is not included on the list.

The following actions should be taken if you are still unable to receive SMS codes even after you have activated SMS authentication or if you are currently living in a nation or region covered by our global SMS coverage list:

• Make sure there is a strong network signal on your mobile device.
• Disable any call blocking, firewall, anti-virus, and/or caller programs on your phone that might be preventing our SMS Code number from working.
• Turn your phone back on.

How to Change My Email Account on FameEX?

1. Go to the FameEX website, click on the profile icon, and select [Security].

2. On the email section, click on [Change].

3. Enter your email verification code by clicking on [Send]. Then click [Next] to continue.

• Wait for some time before resubmitting the application.
• Clear the cache in your browser and terminal.
• Submit the application through the website or app.
• Try using different browsers for the submission.
• Ensure your app is updated to the latest version.

Why can’t I receive the email verification code？

Please check and try again as follows:

• Check the blocked mail spam and trash;
• Add the FameEX notification email address ([email protected]) to the email whitelist so that you can receive the email verification code;
• Wait for 15 minutes and try.

Common Errors During the KYC Process

• Taking unclear, blurry, or incomplete photos may result in unsuccessful KYC verification. When performing face recognition, please remove your hat (if applicable) and face the camera directly.
• KYC process is connected to a third-party public security database, and the system conducts automatic verification, which cannot be manually overridden. If you have special circumstances, such as changes in residency or identity documents, that prevent authentication, please contact online customer service for advice.
• If camera permissions are not granted for the app, you will be unable to take photos of your identity document or perform facial recognition.

What is a tag or meme, and why do I need to enter it when depositing crypto?

A tag or memo is a unique identifier assigned to each account for identifying a deposit and crediting the appropriate account. When depositing certain crypto, such as BNB, XEM, XLM, XRP, KAVA, ATOM, BAND, EOS, etc., you need to enter the respective tag or memo for it to be successfully credited.

Reasons for Unarrived Deposits

1. Multiple factors can affect the arrival of funds, including but not limited to smart contract deposit, abnormal transaction status on blockchain, blockchain congestion, failure to transfer out normally by the withdrawal platform, wrong or missing memo/tag, deposit address or the choice of the wrong chain type, suspension of deposit on target address platform, etc.

2. When a withdrawal is marked as “completed” or “success” on the platform from which you’re withdrawing your crypto, it means that the transaction has been successfully broadcast to the blockchain network. However, the transaction may still require time to be fully confirmed and credited to the recipient platform. Please note that the required network confirmations vary with different blockchains. Take BTC deposits as an example:

• Your BTC deposit will be credited to your account after at least 1 network confirmation.

• After being credited, all assets in your account will be temporarily frozen. For security purposes, a minimum of 2 network confirmations are required before your BTC deposit can be unlocked on FameEX.

3. Due to possible network congestion, there might be a significant delay in processing your transaction. You may use the TXID (Transaction ID) to look up the status of the transfer of your assets from a blockchain explorer.


How to Solve This Situation?

If your deposits have not been credited to your account, you can follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. If the transaction hasn’t been fully confirmed by the blockchain network nodes, or hasn’t reached the minimum amount of network confirmations specified by FameEX, please wait patiently for it to be processed. Once the transaction is confirmed, FameEX will credit the funds to your account.

2. If the transaction is confirmed by the blockchain but not credited to your FameEX account, you can contact FameEX support and provide them with the following information:

• UID
• Email number
• Currency name and chain type (for example: USDT-TRC20)
• Deposit amount and TXID (hash value)
• Our customer service will collect your information and transfer it to the relevant department for further processing.

3. If there is any update or resolution regarding your deposit issue, FameEX will notify you by email as soon as possible.

What Can I Do When I Deposit to A Wrong Address

1. Deposit made to an incorrect receiving/deposit address

FameEX generally does not offer a token/coin recovery service. However, if you have suffered a significant loss as a result of incorrectly deposited tokens/coins, FameEX may, solely at our discretion, assist you in recovering your tokens/coins. FameEX has comprehensive procedures to help our users recover their financial losses. Please note that fully token recovery is not guaranteed. 2. Deposit made to an incorrect address that doesn’t belong to FameEX

Different Order Types in Spot Trading

1. Limit Order

A limit order refers to a user-defined order in which they specify the quantity and maximum bid or minimum ask price. The order will only be executed when the market price falls within the designated price range:

• The buy limit price must not exceed 110% of the last price.
• The sell limit price must not be 90% less than the last price.

2. Market Order

A market order refers to a user executing buy or sell orders instantly at the prevailing best market price in the current market, aiming for a swift and fast transaction.

3. Stop-Limit Order

Stop-Limit orders involve the user pre-setting the trigger price, order price, and quantity of orders. When the market price reaches the trigger price, the system will automatically execute orders based on the pre-determined order price and quantity, assisting the user in preserving profits or minimizing losses.

• The buy stop-limit price must not exceed 110% of the trigger price.
• The sell stop-limit price must not be less than 90% of the trigger price.

4. Trailing Stop Order

In the case of a significant market callback, a Trailing Stop Order will be activated and sent to the market at the current market price once the last filled price hits the specified trigger price and the required callback ratio is satisfied.

To put it simply, when executing a buy order, the last filled price must be less than or equal to the trigger price, and the callback range must be higher than or equal to the callback ratio. In this case, the buy order will be made at the market price. For a sell order, the last filled price must be higher than or equal to the trigger price, and the callback range must be higher than or equal to the callback ratio. The sell order will then be executed at the market price.

To prevent users from inadvertently placing orders that could result in avoidable losses, FameEX has implemented the following restrictions on Trailing Stop order placement:

1. For a buy order, the trigger price cannot be higher than or equal to the last filled price.
2. For a sell order, the trigger price cannot be less than or equal to the last filled price.
3. The callback ratio limitation: it can be set within a range of 0.01% to 10%.

What Is the Difference Between Spot Trading and Traditional Fiat Trading?

In traditional fiat trading, digital assets are exchanged for fiat currencies like the RMB (CNY). For example, if you buy Bitcoin with RMB and its value increases, you can exchange it back for more RMB, and vice versa. For instance, if 1 BTC equals 30,000 RMB, you could purchase 1 BTC and sell it later when its value rises to 40,000 RMB, thus converting 1 BTC into 40,000 RMB.

However, in FameEX spot trading, BTC serves as the base currency instead of fiat currency. For instance, if 1 ETH is equivalent to 0.1 BTC, you can buy 1 ETH with 0.1 BTC. Then, if the value of ETH increases to 0.2 BTC, you can sell 1 ETH for 0.2 BTC, effectively exchanging 1 ETH for 0.2 BTC.
 

How to View my Spot Trading Activity

You can view your spot trading activities from the Orders and Positions panel at the bottom of the trading interface. Simply switch between the tabs to check your open order status and previously executed orders.

1. Open Orders

Under the [Open Orders] tab, you can view the details of your open orders.

2. Order History

Order history displays a record of your filled and unfilled orders over a certain period.

3. Asset

Here, you can check the asset value of the coin that you are holding.

Withdrawal

Why hasn’t my withdrawal arrived?

Transferring funds involves the following steps:

• Withdrawal transaction initiated by FameEX.
• Confirmation of the blockchain network.
• Depositing on the corresponding platform.

Normally, a TxID (transaction ID) will be generated within 30–60 minutes, indicating that our platform has successfully completed the withdrawal operation and that the transactions are pending on the blockchain.

However, it might still take some time for a particular transaction to be confirmed by the blockchain and, later, by the corresponding platform.

Due to possible network congestion, there might be a significant delay in processing your transaction. You may use the transaction ID (TxID) to look up the status of the transfer with a blockchain explorer.

• If the blockchain explorer shows that the transaction is unconfirmed, please wait for the process to be completed.
• If the blockchain explorer shows that the transaction is already confirmed, it means that your funds have been sent out successfully from FameEX, and we are unable to provide any further assistance on this matter. You will need to contact the owner or support team of the target address and seek further assistance.

Important Guidelines for Cryptocurrency Withdrawals on FameEX Platform

1. For crypto that support multiple chains such as USDT, please make sure to choose the corresponding network when making withdrawal requests.
2. If the withdrawal crypto requires a MEMO, please make sure to copy the correct MEMO from the receiving platform and enter it accurately. Otherwise, the assets may be lost after the withdrawal.
3. After entering the address, if the page indicates that the address is invalid, please check the address or contact our online customer service for further assistance.
4. Withdrawal fees vary for each crypto and can be viewed after selecting the crypto on the withdrawal page.
5. You can see the minimum withdrawal amount and withdrawal fees for the corresponding crypto on the withdrawal page.

How do I check the transaction status on the blockchain?
